Meet Julio & Shirley.
Dr. Julio Marino and Dr. Shirley Marquez are married, and they opened Altamar together in July 2019. They own the practice, and they both still treat patients here.
That means you won’t be passed to an associate you’ve never met. The people who decide how this practice runs are the same people looking at your X-rays — and when a case deserves a second opinion, the other one is down the hall.
Dr. Julio C. Marino
A graduate of Meharry Medical College with more than ten years in practice. Co-founded Altamar in 2019 and treats patients here alongside Dr. Marquez.
Dr. Shirley Marquez
Earned her DDS at Meharry Medical College and completed her residency with Veterans Affairs. Co-founded Altamar in 2019, and treats patients in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
