Each member gets the Individual plan’s care and savings.
More than four? Each additional member adds $100, or $50 for children under 8. Add $50 for each family member who needs periodontal cleanings and maintenance.
The fine print, in plain words. The Smile Club is a discount plan, not dental insurance. Benefits are based on an annual membership and can only be used at Altamar Dental Studio. It can’t be used together with any dental insurance plan or with any other discount, including CareCredit.

Independent by choice. Patient-centered by design.
The dentists who own Altamar are the same dentists who treat you. Our recommendations are based on what’s right for you — not the terms of an insurance contract.
Have dental benefits?
You can still use them here. Altamar doesn’t participate in insurance networks, so you pay Altamar directly — our team submits your claim, and any reimbursement your plan owes goes straight to you.
No benefits?
The Altamar Smile Club starts at $360/year and covers your preventive care plus meaningful savings on treatment.
Why not both?
Smile Club prices are our own member discounts, so they can’t be billed to an insurance plan. If you join the Smile Club, we don’t submit insurance claims for that care. Choose whichever serves you better — we’re happy to talk it through.

New patients can apply the $109 first-visit fee toward the membership when they join that day.

Smile Club FAQ
Can I use the Smile Club with my dental insurance?
No. The Smile Club can’t be combined with any dental insurance plan. Member prices are our own discounts, and we don’t submit claims or provide insurance documentation for care received with Smile Club savings. If you have benefits, you can use them here instead — here’s how.
Can I combine it with CareCredit or other discounts?
No. The Smile Club can’t be used with any other discount, including CareCredit.
What’s the difference between the Individual and Periodontal plans?
The Periodontal plan ($460/yr) includes everything in the Individual plan ($360/yr), plus two periodontal maintenance visits, 40% off scaling and root planing, and 50% off Arestin placement. It’s meant for patients whose gums need ongoing care. We’ll tell you which plan fits after your exam.
How do family plans work?
A family plan is $560 a year for two members, $660 for three and $860 for four. Each additional member after that adds $100, or $50 for children under 8. Each member who needs periodontal cleanings and maintenance adds $50.
Is there a contract?
Membership is year to year. The full annual fee is due when you join. You can cancel any time, but unused benefits aren’t refunded. Membership doesn’t renew automatically — we’ll remind you.
Do benefits roll over?
No. Benefits are annual. There’s no yearly maximum on member savings, though — the discounts apply to as much treatment as you need.
