A precise 3D scan of your teeth in a few minutes. No impression trays, no gagging.
A preview of your result.
We show you how your teeth are planned to move and where they should end up, before you commit to anything.
Your aligners.
Your aligners are made for your teeth. We show you how to wear and care for them and send you home with several sets.
Progress checks.
A short visit every 6–8 weeks, usually 15–20 minutes, to make sure your teeth are moving as planned.
Retainers.
When treatment is done — about 7 months on average — you get retainers to hold your teeth in their new position.

Yes. Your Invisalign consultation, including the iTero scan and a preview of how your teeth would move, costs nothing and carries no obligation.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
The average case at Altamar takes about 7 months. It depends on what needs to move: simple cases can be done in 4–6 months, while more complex cases can take 12–18.
How much does Invisalign cost?
Comprehensive Invisalign treatment is $5,300. Smile Club members save $1,000, so their price is $4,300 (the membership, $360/year for an individual, is separate). That includes all your aligners, your progress appointments and your retainers when you finish.

Can I use my dental insurance for Invisalign?

Does Invisalign hurt?
You may feel mild pressure when you switch to a new set of aligners. That’s the aligners doing their job. With no brackets or wires, most people find it far more comfortable than braces.
How many hours a day do I wear the aligners?
20 to 22 hours a day. Take them out only to eat, brush and floss. The more consistently you wear them, the more predictably your teeth move.
Can Invisalign fix my bite?
Often, yes. Invisalign can correct many bite problems, including overbite, underbite, crossbite and spacing. At your free consultation we’ll look at your bite and tell you whether Invisalign is the right tool for it.
What is the iTero scanner?
The iTero Lumina is a digital scanner that captures a precise 3D image of your teeth in minutes, without impression trays or gagging. The same scan is what we use to show you your preview.
