Your gums and soft tissue are covered before the gel goes on. Some people feel mild, temporary sensitivity; we’ll tell you how to manage it if you do.
You keep it bright.
Results can last 1–3 years, depending on your habits. Go easy on coffee, wine and tobacco, and use your custom trays for touch-ups.

How white will my teeth get?
It varies from person to person, but most patients see their teeth lighten by several shades. At your visit we’ll look at your starting shade and tell you what’s realistic for you.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes, when it’s done under a dentist’s supervision. We check your oral health first and use products designed to keep sensitivity to a minimum.
Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?
Some people feel mild, temporary sensitivity during or shortly after treatment. It usually fades within a day or two, and we can adjust your treatment if you’re prone to it.
How long does professional whitening last?
Usually 1–3 years, depending on your diet, habits and home care. Touch-ups with your custom trays keep it going longer.
Can whitening damage my enamel?
Not when it’s used as directed. Professional whitening works chemically rather than by scrubbing, unlike abrasive whitening toothpastes, so it doesn’t wear away tooth structure.
